Our Sweet Dad.
Zach, he is the guy we all turn to when we are sad, hurt, or need a pick me up. He is the one who always picks up the slack and saves the day. He is a selfless server to anyone that comes in his path. He would do anything for his family. I always call him the “yes guy” because he will say yes to helping anyone, any of my crazy ideas, or anything else. He is the one who will go to the store at midnight for me because I forgot to grab something or stay up making cakes until 2 in the morning just so they are ready for me to frost the next day. He knows dishes are my least favorite thing so he makes sure to have them done every single night so I don’t have to do them. He takes a minute to fully commit to things, but once he does he is in for life.
Father’s day is one of my favorite days, not only to celebrate my dad & the dad to my kids but also every other Father figure. Father figures are the ones who teach us so many different needed things than a mom whether it be working in the yard or baking cookies. They are a true difference maker in our lives and I love being able to give them a day fully loving, thanking, and cheering them on for being the person that they are.
Every year for Father’s Day I let King pick out his own gift for Zach and then I buy him something he has been wanting or something that he needs. This year we went to our favorite one stop shop retailer Stage Stores to get everything for him in one place. Last year King bought Zach a soccer ball so they could play outside together and this year he decided to buy him an Air Fryer ha. He said he wanted to get him something that they can make french fries together with. (I picked the air fryer over a regular oil fryer because I have heard great things about them!) I snagged Zach the Nike tee shirt & basketball shorts he is wearing in these pictures and the most good looking Nike polo I have seen in a long time. I love Stage because they carry name brands like Nike at amazing prices that don’t compare to anywhere else. I also was able to snag my dad a pizza oven & my grandpa a nice Adidas tee. Being able to shop for everyone in one place and mark them all off my list is the biggest game changer.
No matter how you celebrate Father’s Day whether it is with gifts or making breakfast in bed it doesn’t matter. Truly all that matters is to celebrate the men in your life and let them know what an amazing influence they are to you.
