Pairing Basics

 
Finding the perfect basic pieces to wear through the fall and winter are a must. These are the things that you will be pulling out of your closet all season if not more than one season. I always splurge a little bit more on my basic pieces because I want them to last me awhile, however everything I am wearing here (besides my shoes which are only $70) is under $60! I still can’t believe it myself.

This cardigan is a must and it comes in 4 other colors. This light pink color I have is sold out but there is red, grey, navy, and black still in stock. It is super soft, comfortable, and the perfect length to be flattering. There are so many options for a long duster cardigan. You can wear it with a basic tee like I have here, or you can layer it over a button down like I did here. This cardigan is under $50 and a piece that I know I will be wearing for many seasons to come.

I love to find a good white basic tee that isn’t see through and that has enough fabric to it that it is still flattering but I can also tie it if I choose. When I found this tee I knew I needed it in the crew neck and the v-neck. It is thick, but not too thick that it is heavy and doesn’t breath. It is flattering tied, half tucked, or just down on its own. This white tee is always only $30 and a must in my book.

I think we all know how obsessed I am with this crossbody bag. If you missed my last posts on it, it is only $32 and the perfect size. It is big enough to hold more than just a lipgloss (ha don’t you feel like that is how most crossbody bags are). It holds my wallet, some diapers for King, lip gloss, fruit snacks, and more. It is the perfect classic piece and also comes in Navy. 

Lastly is a good pair of shoes. These Nike slide ons are seriously gold. I bought them in this brown color and snagged them in white too. They are comfortable and going to be perfect to wear to run errands, chase King through parking lots (yep it happens), and to wear through the fall, winter, and spring time. They come in white, brown, and black. They are still in stock in white and trust me babe, you will be sad if you don’t snag them!!
