See this sweet boy, well as I have said before we are moving and it has made our life absolutely chaotic. He has been passed back and forth with my sweet mama who is helping us so much while we are packing, meeting with our builder, closing on selling our home, closing on our lot, etc. etc. etc. I swear so much comes up while you are moving and selling/buying/building homes that you didn’t anticipate and when it rains it pours ha and reminds you what you have to be grateful for. I had to have a root canal this week, some crowns placed, my car battery died, etc. so King has really been passed around and he has been such a trooper and been so good. I am so grateful for a boy that will go hang out with grandma for a few hours and my sweet heaven sent mom who watches him at the drop of a hat and helps us more than we could ever ask for. With all the craziness, I have been not taking time for myself which has made me grumpy. I wanted to share a quick tip on how I take time for myself when times are crazy when I don’t have anything big going on besides being a mom, or when my life is completely up in the air and we are figuring everything out.
I love to (if I have time) go play outside with King. He will run around and I am able to see him while I enjoy my favorite goodnessknows® snack squares. They are so easy and convenient to have in my bag, take outside while King is playing and I have a second to enjoy a snack that he isn’t stealing from my hands, or to keep in my car kit for when we need snacks on the go (pictures & tutorial below). They are the perfect better-for-you snack that is full of delicious real fruit, dark chocolate and whole nuts in bite-size portions which makes it easy to hurry and snack on when King isn’t looking, I am driving in the car, or in a hurry running out the door.
I am so grateful to be this boys mama, even when I hide for a second and enjoy my goodnessknows® snack squares. Do you have a snack that you hide and enjoy for yourself at your house?

SUPPLIES:
water bottles
goodnessknows® snack squares
drinks for your kids
pre-portioned bags of veggie straws, crackers, dried fruit, etc.
tote or container
DIRECTIONS:
We all are busy some day or another which means that we need snacks on the go or our littles might. I love to keep this little box of snacks in the front seat of my car (so King can’t see it and I can have my goodnessknows® snack squares for myself) so when we are on the go we can have a snack so we don’t get grumpy! Grab some snacks that your littles and yourself love, some water bottles, your littles drink containers (we love these juice bottles and then wash and refill them with water and always have one in the car). Portion out snacks into snack baggies so you can easily hand a baggie of snacks to your littles in the back, grab some goodnessknows® snack squares (there are so many yummy flavors, apple, peach, and cherry), your water bottles and everything and stick it in your container to go in the car! Simple and easy and will save the day more than you will ever know!

Haha! I love the brutal honesty. I for sure have snacks or treats my kids don’t know about. I don’t even keep them in the pantry. Their hiding in mason jars right alongside the other storage jars. Makes it easy to sneak a little snack while I’m cooking up dinner or cleaning the dishes. #client
