The Perfect Homemade Microwave Popcorn Snack
I am always looking for the perfect, yummy, snack that King and I can share after he gets home from preschool. Why make a snack if you can’t eat it too!? One of King’s favorite things is popcorn so I wanted to figure out how to make a healthier homemade microwave popcorn version for him that we can whip up anytime.
I knew when it came to making a healthier homemade microwave popcorn that I wanted to use coconut oil instead of butter. Coconut Oil is the perfect organic substitute. I was at Target recently and saw that there is Crisco® Refined Coconut Oil so you can add it to your recipes without the flavor or aroma of coconut. It is perfect for making homemade microwave popcorn and using it in so many different recipes. Unrefined Coconut Oil has the taste and aroma of coconut to it so if you don’t want that flavor in your recipe Unrefined Coconut Oil is the perfect choice for you! Target even has a Cartwheel offer right now so you can snag it for 25% off now through October 7th!
