Pink Florals & High Waisted


I’ll be completely honest, I am drawing a blank on even what to talk about. I am feeling a little overwhelmed with life tonight. I am staying with Matt (you can read his story here) until Monday night and then I have Tuesday to get ready for NY and leave first thing Wednesday morning! I have so much to do and so little time. I am so excited to go to New York for A Positively Baby shower. It is the biggest feel good day and needed so much right now in my life. I love spoiling those mamas and watching them light up during this special time in their lives.

As I am packing for NY I am loving packing all the pink tops whether it have pink detailing like this top here or it be a gingham ruffle top. I am obsessing over pink this year and it isn’t something that I normally gravitate to. The blush pinks, bright pinks, and even some neons really seem to be calling my name this year. I am obsessing over the details of all the tops this year. The ruffles, embroidery, etc. This look is simple, but I love that the top speaks for itself so easily. It doesn’t need any accessorizing, nothing, just to be worn alone and that is my kind of top!
