A POSITIVELY BABY SHOWER ROUND II

A couple of weekends ago I was able to throw the most amazing baby shower with Jess from Positively Oakes for deserving moms. I feel so honored she asked me to co-host such an amazing event with her. Everything came together better than we could have ever hoped for and it was the most beautiful, heart filling, amazing day I have ever been a part of. 75 expecting and new moms came to Jane Headquarters with their plus ones and were absolutely spoiled. So, let’s get started and share this amazingness with you!

We started by accepting nominations, people could send in nominations of a new or expecting mom that they though was deserving. We prayed and carefully picked 75 mamas to come, sent out beautiful invitations made by Brenda Bird Designs, and waited for this beautiful event to finally be here. Owlet and Munchkin were our hosts of the event and boy oh boy were they amazing! The entire event couldn’t have happened with out them. Babyganics was our theme and decoration sponsor and spoiled these mama’s like nothing I have ever seen. It may or may not have felt like we were Ellen for a second. Each person came into the beautiful venue and had a Babyganics bag on their seat with hand sanitizer, lotion, chapstick, and a stain stick in them. Each nominated mama had a darling chalkboard from Pearhead to take home to document their little ones growing up. We all had the yummiest lunch from The Protein Foundry and were drooling over the desserts from The Sweet Tooth Fairy. Ella’s Bows came and was outstanding. She helped each new/expecting mama to make a bow or bow tie for their little one, chatted with them like they are all best friends, and made each mama feel so special. 
Each mama came in, stood under the most beautiful floral arrangement by The Golden Petal and had their picture taken. We then played games, had giveaways, and enjoyed each others company learning about where we are each from and a little about everyone’s lives. Babyganics surprised every mama with a full essentials gift set (Shampoo, Lotion, Dishsoap, Sunscreen, Hand Sanatizer, Wipes, etc.) and at the end of the event surprised them with a Baby’s First Bundle of Love (diapers, wipes, bum cream, hand sanitizer, collapsable toy chest, and $40 in coupons). Amazing right?!? The event was absolutely magical, I had tears in my eyes multiple times thinking about what a magical event it was filled with so much happiness, goodness, and love. 

I can’t thank the people enough who helped us make our little dreams come true. Roxana B Photography and Kelsie Emm Photography came and took all of these beautiful images, KC Film & Photo came and filmed all these mamas reactions, countless companies donated to swag bags, giveaway prizes, and so much more. There is so much goodness in the world of people wanting to give back, share the love, and to make people feel special. I am so excited to share the video below with you to see how special and spoiled these mamas really felt. 

Our games were so fun! We played a few “birthday” games where the mamas who’s due dates were closest to Jess’ and my birthday won. It was so fun to see who was due when. We also played the “baby clothes pin” game where every mama had a clothes pin and when they heard someone else say “baby” then they took their clothes pin and whoever had the most won! The game prizes were nothing less than amazing, they included:
2 Copper Pearl Baskets, Pediped Shoes, Chico Rose Headbands/Bow Ties, Ergo Pouch Sleep Sacks, Silli Kids Mats/Sippy Cups, Handmade Pocket Bibs by And Bibs, B.Box Diaper Wallets, and 3 Lit Joy Crate Boxes!
