POW WOW KIDS BIRTHDAY!
This party came together way better than I thought it would let’s be honest. Do you ever plan events and sometimes they go exactly how you had planned and other times they are definitely not what you pictured? I love how every aspect of this party came together from the big prints to the yummy treats and cake. I decided I wanted to do a Pow-Wow theme for King’s party. I wanted it to be black, white, and gold and the rest I was unsure about. I saw on a local TV show these wood slices that someone had made. Zach so graciously cut them all out for me and made this cake plate. It is one of my favorite parts of the party. Sweet Brenda Bird from From Me, With Love made his invitations and the background that you see on all of the printables. She was an absolute dream to work with and we loved everything she put together for us. Sweet Tooth Fairy (of course, my favorite treat place ever) did all the yummy treats and let me tell you, they were devoured so quick! They were stunning on the tables, fit perfectly with the theme of his party. When I picked them up, I had told them the theme for King’s party when we first chatted. Megan the owner had even put together the beautiful gold dipped feathers for on top of the mini cupcakes. Seriously, Sweet Tooth Fairy is perfection and that’s just that. Okay, let’s talk about this delicious stunning cake. My sweet friend Carissa (CC Cakes) made it perfectly. The different patterned teepees around the bottom are my favorite part with the feathers. She also made his smash cake here. The cake is absolutely delicious. I have had pretty cakes before and they weren’t very good. Carissa’s is divine! It was so sweet, perfect amount of frosting, and absolutely delicious. The colors fit perfectly to the theme and it sitting on the tree cake plate made it really stand out. What really pulled everything together though was the banners. Charlee Dreams on Instagram is perfection at banners. I told her the theme and let her have creative freedom and I am so glad I did. Everything pulled together perfectly, and I am kind of getting excited for his next birthday to plan another fun event!
