Can you guys believe that the weather is turning cooler and that the holidays are nearly here! I have been trying to really be on top of my game this year and to have things ready and prepared before the holidays hit. The holidays are my absolute favorite time of the year like so many of you I’m sure. We love to have family come in to town and stay at our home. It always seems to me like some of the best memories made are the ones late at night when people stay over, anyone else feel that way?

I have been trying to prepare our home ahead of time for when we have guests over to stay. I always seem to forget about the things that really help them to feel comfortable and at home until right before so I am striving to be better about that. I love to always have a few things on hand for my guests and ready for them in the room they are staying in and the bathroom they will be using. I just wanted to share a few of them with you in case you have guests coming into town or your just need to have a few things on hand for yourself especially with the cold weather that is on its way. I ran to my local CVS really quick because I knew they would have everything that I needed to stock up.

I always have a few things in the bathroom that my guests are using. HALLS are always a necessity in case you need a little something to provide a little comfort to your guests. There is nothing better than a little comfort brought to you when you need it most and HALLS is my favorite thing to have on hand. Kleenex boxes are always in the bedroom my guests are staying in and also in the bathroom. I swear, there is just something about having a Kleenex box in the bedroom that makes it feel like home. Anyone else feel this way??

In the room my guests are staying in, I always have Smartwater bottles for them. Smartwater is my favorite water to stay hydrated and to feel my best. I know a lot of other people feel their best when they are hydrated so I always try to make them feel their best and water is such an easy way to do so. I am a person who loves things to be clean and hate asking for Lysol disinfecting wipes. I stock a fresh container of Lysol ready for them. That way if they need to clean something up, want to kill 99.9% of bacteria on soft surfaces, or anything else it is just there and ready for them. Plus, sometimes I need a little snack at night so Saltine Fresh Stacks are always in their room. These are my absolute favorite because they are smaller sleeves of crackers so they keep fresh for future guests too. What is better than that?
