RAISING MY TRIBE.
This weekend was crazy, and by that I mean crazy good. I was kept really busy with different business meetings, events, and family dinners. If you follow me on Snapchat (@danimariekrum) you will know that I won a ticket to an amazing blogging conference in January called ALT Summit. We submitted an emoji party for their mini party night and WON. Saturday day we had a meeting as our group to get things planned for that. The girls that I am working with are seriously the greatest. Saturday night I went to an event by my favorite baby shoe company Freshly Picked. Sometimes I feel like the emotions of being a mom are absolutely crazy. One minute I feel so overwhelmed, the next I want to wake him up from his nap because I miss him… King is cutting at least six teeth right now, has a cold, and isn’t too interested in eating… This makes for a poor miserable baby. He doesn’t want to be held, he doesn’t want to nap, I just feel like I can’t seem to make him happy. It breaks my heart to see him so sick and miserable. If you have any solutions or can help, please let me know! It takes a village to raise your tribe right?

Cutting teeth is tough enough especially with a cold. Try finding a crib wedge. It like having a nice firm pillow that keeps their head up so everything runs down and helps them breath better. Not to mention takes some pressure off of the teeth too. An ice cube wrapped in a baby facecloth tied with an elastic for them to chew on helps to numb the gums.
