READING WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES.

Book Box – Lit Joy Crate

Reading with King is something that is so important to us. Even if he won’t sit down and listen, is running around yelling, playing with toys, we always read to him every night. Reading is something that I don’t enjoy, but I want King to. I hop that with us reading to him every night he learns to love it. When he will sit down with us and read it makes my heart burst. Watching him point to all the different pictures on the pages and hearing his little language of what he thinks they are is so fun. Watching him pick out books, want a new book mid story, or the grin he gets on his face when we find a book that he has been wanting to read makes bedtime even more fun for us.

We have been trying to incorporate reading into more times than just bedtime. I love to take him outside, sit on a blanket on the grass, feel the sunshine on our skin, and read a book with a snack. Somedays he doesn’t sit for very long, but the few minutes, or even seconds that he will are always so fun. I love switching up what we do outside every day.

We were lucky enough to snag one of their boxes and I must say, I was so so impressed! They do themed boxes around the books. King’s book box was all about the ABC’s. It came with two ABC books, ABC wooden blocks, ABC crackers, and a pair of earrings for mama. The box blew my socks off. The packaging is the most darling thing. I love that you can buy boxes for your littles, or what a darling gift they are for birthdays, Christmas, or just because. What little kid doesn’t love getting packages in the mail? The have boxes from board boxes (0-2), picture boxes (3-7) and young adult books (14+). I love that you can do a mixed book box of picture books and board books.
