THE SIMPLEST BAKED POTATO BAR.

Spring is almost here and one of our favorite things to do in our family is to have people over (or let’s be honest just make it for us) and have a baked potato bar. I love this because I can prepare everything before hand and have it already to go without being stressed out before everyone comes over or dinner time. Baked potatoes are seriously such an easy dinner or luncheon to make and making it a “bar” just makes it that much cuter and simpler if you ask me. I love that it is easy to feed a lot of people, or a few people and be able to put everything back into the fridge when we are done eating if there is left overs. 

Putting together a baked potato bar is super simple and even easier if you have the Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ food storage containers because they look so pretty that you can just pull them out of the fridge and not need to put them in any different dishes/bowls before your guests come over. I am all about making life simpler and more efficient and these for sure do the trick at our house. They even would be super cute for a “soup bar” and have different types of soups and different breads and toppings in all of the containers. 

What you will need:
Rubbermaid® 10 pc BRILLIANCE™ food storage containers
Baked Potatoes
Green Onions
Bacon Bits (you can cook your own and break it up, or buy it at the store)
Sour Cream
Cheese

Throw your baked potatoes wrapped in tin foil a few hours before the party. When you put those in, or heck even the night before you can chop your green onions, pour the cheese, and scoop the sour cream into the Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ and stick them in the fridge so they are all ready to pull out and set up on the counter when the time comes for your friends to come over! When the potatoes are done, you can un-wrap them from the tin foil or leave them in it and stick them in the biggest Rubbermaid® BRILLIANCE™ container so it all matches and your friends are ready to eat! Simple, cute, and everyone will love it!

King’s new thing is to open the fridge and un-load it while I go to the bathroom so I love that I know things aren’t going to be spilled all over when I come out to a big mess. I also love that they are clear so I can easily see what is in them and King can tell me what he wants when he is looking for something to eat. They stack so effortlessly in the fridge and keep our fridge clean and organized which I love. 

When we first got them, I called my mom so excited (#adulting right?) and gave her a set so she could love them and use them for organizing her fridge. I wanted her life to be changed as much as mine was. She kind of giggled like “oh new food storage containers…thanks” until she opened them up and gave them a try. When we took these pictures with Kelsie she even couldn’t believe how pretty and the amazing leak proof-ness of them. I’m telling you, these are seriously game changing!
