Life is busy. Everyones is. Spending time in the kitchen can either take up time that you are wanting to spend elsewhere, or you can involve your little ones and your husband and make it a fun time for everyone. Somethings in the kitchen are hard… Like cutting a pineapple for instance. I love fresh pineapple, but I hate all the time it takes to cut it. I found this amazing pineapple cutter at Willliams-Sonoma and it is seriously heaven sent! I would never let a child help me to cut a pineapple until this goodness. It is so easy to use! You just stick it in the pineapple, twist it until it hits the bottom of the pineapple and give it a good tug out! Wah-la! You have spiral cut pineapple just that easy!
Chopping vegetables is something else that I hate to do and spend time on. I purchased this mandolin and it has cut my cutting time down by 3/4! It is so user friendly and lets me spend more time actually cooking rather than prepping my food. I love that I can choose how thick my vegetables are cut to sauté them or put them in the oven. It lets me spend more time with my sweet husband.
I love to bake. I love to make cupcakes especially. However my hand gets so tired with the pastry bags that I have to take multiple breaks while frosting. This frosting gun is so fun. There are so many possibilities of frosting. I pride myself in having “pretty” frosted cupcakes. I also love that it is so easy to use that when I babysit or have little friends over that they can help and participate!
