We all know how crazy mornings can get. I am far from a morning person, and I have done some serious trial and error in making a skincare routine that will get me out the door feeling good about myself, looking put together, and taking care of my skin. Whether you are in college, working, a mom, or all of the above, mornings sometimes have to be super quick and only the necessities can be there, like a cold Diet Coke when you wake up and the best moisturizing cream to keep your legs and body nice and moisturized. We all know we feel better when our legs are shaved, and coated with some thick super yummy moisturizing cream! I am so excited to share this with you and hopefully to help your mornings skincare routine go a little quicker and smoother to get you out the door, up and going, or wherever you might need to be.
We really are going to keep just the necessities here. I love good ‘ol Cetaphil® products that I have been using for years. They have been tried and true for me forever, and something that I always go back to. They always keep my skin feeling refreshed, moisturized, and help me to feel my best. I love keeping them in my morning skincare routine. I am all about just doing the basics when I am in a hurry so I use Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser and the Cetaphil® Moisturizing Cream. My skin used to feel really dry, but between using Cetaphil® Moisturizing Cream and drinking enough water my skin feels refreshed, moisturized, and leaves me feeling confident like I can conquer the world. I love that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy, it is fragrance free, and it is non-irritating for my sensitive skin. Amazing, right? I mean, I thought only in my dreams products like this existed, but I was proven wrong and kind of love that I was wrong for once!
Okay, so let’s get to what you are going to need in your morning skincare routine “kit”. Like I said previously, we are keeping just the necessities in this, then you have less product to search for, and if you keep it all together it will keep you from having to look for anything at all!

I love to have all my products gathered together and in a cosmetics bag, then when I am getting ready for the day I have everything. I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is change into what I am wearing for the day. When I am changing, I love to use the Cetaphil® Moisturizing Cream all over my body. I love that it keeps my skin hydrated and healthy and has intense and lasting moisture to replenish sensitive, dry skin. I feel like as I get older my skin is getting drier and more sensitive, anyone else feel this way? After that, I wash my face with the Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser, this has been my go-to for my morning skincare routine since I was in high school. It has never given me a break out, hasn’t dried my skin out, or anything funky the entire time I have used it. It is seriously tried and true for me. I then put on my foundation, bronzer, blush, and a little lipgloss and I am out the door!
If my skin is feeling extra dry on my face, I love before I go to bed (even if I don’t take my makeup off) to use the Rich Hydrating Night Cream from Cetaphil®. It leaves my face feeling super moisturized in the mornings and helps my makeup to go on better and look smoother, win-win right!?
What are your skincare routine secrets to getting out the door quick? I mean, between this routine and mastering the mom top knot I think I am getting pretty quick!
PS you can snag all the Cetaphil® products at Target, because we all know that it is where we go when we need a little time to ourselves, new shoes, stuff for our house, or all of the above.

I usually keep a go bag by the door with necessities- and a special pouch in my car. But writing a list the night before helps me get up and out the door in the morning too! #client
