Small Shop Holiday Guide
Holiday shopping is in full force, and honestly I feel so good about it this year. My kids are all done and shopped for, I feel like I was really intentional with the things that I bought them, I didn’t over-do it, and honestly our Christmas is smaller than ever before and it feels so relieving. I tried my best to shop small this year supporting the people running their own businesses in this really hard year. I have had a ton of you ask me if I would share our favorites and what we are snagging so you can support small too.
If you have been here for a second you know that I am obsessed with little dainty jewelry on my little girls. I have searched and searched for the perfect bracelets and have found a shop that never disappoints. I am so in love with Daisy Daintys bracelets. They are at a price point that is realistic to be spent on your baby & toddler (even older girls) and she has tons of different patterns, colors, styles, etc. Both of my girls have worn her bracelets for a long time now and we have absolutely loved them!
Journaling has become something completely life changing for me this year. I never thought I would be someone to “journal” but oh goodness if you haven’t tried it try it. You do have to be uncomfortable for a minute to be comfortable with it and that is okay when you are comfortable or heck even uncomfortable it will completely change your life. I have had Promptly Journals for all of my kids (since King was little) and have loved them even when I wasn’t a “journaler”. They give you prompts on what age your child is, their favorite things, doctors stats, etc and makes it so easy to remember your little ones when they get older. There are so many special moments that sadly can be so easily forgot about and this helps keep them in a simple and easy way. I do my best to sit down every Sunday and to jot a few things that my kids either said or did that week in there and it keeps it quick, easy, and the moments fresh on my mind. I also snagged this emotions journal for King for Christmas and I’m so excited for him to use it. He has really big emotions and I’m hoping this will help him to recognize them, feel them, not try to shove them down, and then know what to do with them.
I think you know this is my go to shop to get things for people that I love and they have everything. They have so many unique gifts, we have their glass tumbler cups and love them. My kids think it is the best thing ever to dip their cookies in milk and use them plus they are super cute. This year I snagged a couple of their Selfie Care Kits for people that love so much but had everything. I’m obsessed so I ended up even keeping one for myself. It has a weighted eye mask & weighted neck wrap that are literally to die for plus a few other things like a face roller and a glass mug. It comes all packaged up cute so the only thing that you have to do is to give it to the one you love which is the best part!
Aren’t these the gift that every single person loves? I love getting people pajamas and then adding some bath salts, socks, or something like that to them. Kickee Pants are so good that I’m gifting them to so many people I love this year. Who doesn’t love a buttery soft pair of pajamas to get into at the end of the day? I think if I could live in mine I totally would. Plus, their pajamas hold up so well that Lettie is wearing some of King’s very loved pajamas and they have held up amazing and will even make it through Rosie girl!
I hope this helped you find some amazing gifts for the ones that you love through small businesses. These people put their heart into their business and when you give their product to someone you love they will feel that love as well.
