SNICKERS® PEANUT BUTTER CAKE

All opinions are mine alone. #WhenImHungry #CollectiveBiasSNICKERS® have always been a favorite treat of mine for as long as I can remember. They are just so amazingly delicious! I mean the little bit of crunch of the peanuts to the delicious taste of the caramel? What else could you want! I remember back in jr. high my mom use to give me 2 dollars for the vending machines for lunch. I would always get a SNICKERS® and a diet coke. It was the perfect snack/lunch at school until I could get home and eat something I liked. Even now, at anytime you can find a SNICKERS® bar either in my diaper bag, purse, or out on my counter. And, don’t even start me on their new flavors! I mean, SNICKERS® Peanut Butter & SNICKERS® Almond? Perfection if you ask me!
I love to incorporate my favorite treats into new recipes. I think it is a fun and unexpected way to get the delicious flavors of SNICKERS® into something else that is delicious. I also love to keep my family members guessing on which treats I am going to make into a yummy dessert next. (See more great SNICKERS® recipes and fun stories on the SNICKERS® social hub)
First you are going to want to grab your favorite Devil’s food cake mix. It can be any one you would like. You are going to need the cake mix, 1 1/4 of water, 1/2 cup oil, & 3 eggs.
Mix up your cake and decide how you would like it. I chose to do 2 rounds and layer my cake, but a regular cake would work perfectly too!If you choose to do 2 rounds let them cool out of the oven, then get them out of the pans. You will then want to take a knife and make sure the cake is even on the top so when they stack it won’t fall over. No one even wants to risk that when you are making a cake as delicious as this one!
While I waited for my cake to cool, I made my frosting. It is a delicious peanut butter frosting with SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares crumbled in it. Oh my goodness, I could have ate it all straight out of the bowl! You will really have to have some self control to make sure this makes it onto the cake!
You will need 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups powder sugar, 1/2 cup (1 cube) butter, milk as needed, and about 1 cup (or as much or little as you would like) chopped SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares.
First cream together the butter & the peanut butter. Then add the powder sugar and add milk as needed. I used a hand mixer to mix mine, then when I added the SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares, I used a big kitchen spoon
After, you can frost your cake. I did a layer of frosting in between my 2 round cakes, and then frosted just the top of the entire cake. After frosting your cake, you can chop more SNICKERS® Peanut Butter Squares and add them to the top to garnish your cake.

Now hurry up and go make this! I promise it will be the best thing that has hit those luscious little lips of yours in a long time! Oh and you can thank me later. XO
