SPRING DRESSY MUST HAVES FOR MAMA & LITTLES

The weather here in Utah has started to warm up, thank the heavens, however, King still asks to “shobel” every day all day. Now he wants to “shobel” the rocks, dirt, flowers, everything. I love that he is such a worker. He is always needing to be busy, he can’t ever sit still. It is hard right now while he is little, but I know that when he gets bigger that I will be so grateful for it. With the weather being warmer, I have been thinking about all the fun spring pieces to wear, Easter clothes, and of course clothes for wedding season!

First, I can’t go any farther without taking a minute for this little suit that King is in. Be still my heart. I can’t stop looking at these pictures. He is such a little stud in it. Where did mama’s little baby go? He is getting so big, talking in entire sentences, and starting to take his busy little personality to be a helper personality (well sometimes ha). He can be the sweetest boy, last Sunday, we saw one of his friends sitting a few rows up from us at church, he kept watching her carefully, then he grabbed some fruit snacks packages and asked daddy if he could go take them to her. What a little sweetheart. He walked them up, handed them to her, and then came back to his seat. I was so proud in that moment. I loved watching him be so sweet, innocent, and making sure that his friend was taken care of. It was a mama heart melt moment.  

Okay, so this suit is from Janie and Jack. Their pieces hold a special sentimental place in my heart. I bought little wool dress pants from them, a white button up shirt (umm theirs are such high quality and hold up sooo well), and he was blessed in that little outfit when he was 5 months old. Seeing him grow up in their clothes, his little personality shine, and him become a little man in them is heart melting to me. Their clothes seriously hold up better than anything I have ever purchased for King, the quality is absolutely amazing. Can you just imagine this little boy in a wedding in a suit like this!? Be still my heart. I die. You better believe he will be wearing this every single Sunday until he grows out of it, because this mama heart needs to see her little boy dressed up at least once a week.

My dress is from Shabby Apple and we all know that I have a huge obsession with them. It is seriously a dress that I will live in all through the spring & summer, to weddings, out and about to run errands, everywhere. It is super comfortable, functional, and the quality is top notch. I am a firm believer in splurging on one or two pieces in your closet for each season. **If they are pieces you know you will wear a ton. They will hold up so much better, you will feel confident and beautiful in them, and you will be able to wear them year after year because they will hold up.
