Spring & Summer Lipstick Colors for Everyone

I was never a lipstick girl until recently and now I am seriously obsessed. I love how it really finishes off my look in such a simple way, makes me feel like I am put together, and I wish I would have figured it out sooner. There are so many different lipstick options out there and really bright bold colors make me a little nervous to wear. I wanted to share with you my absolute favorites and so here they are!

Bobbi Brown – Art Stick Liquid Lip – Color: Vintage Pink

I recently started using Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip and I am obsessed. It stays on for about 4 hours, the colors are absolutely stunning, and it is probably my favorite lipstick that I own. It is more of a cream based lipstick and is hydrating and sheer perfection. The color vintage pink has a good pink tone to it without being too bright. It is the perfect balance to a pink summer lip without being bold.

Bare Minerals – Matte Lipstick – Color: Cookie

When I want a lighter lip I am head over heels for the Bare Minerals Matte Lipstick. This is what I keep with me at all times. My lips never dry out wearing it, it stays on really well, and the colors are amazing. This color cookie is a nude color with a pink base so it is perfect for light makeup days.

Maybelline – Vivid Matte Liquid – Colors: (Mixed) Fuschia Ecstasy & Nude Thrill

I bought these Maybelline Vivid Matte Lipstick colors and I love them but only when they are layered. They do take a long time to dry so they don’t look matte for awhile, but I don’t mind that. The nude isn’t the right nude for my skin tone and the pink is crazy bright, but layered together I love the color. It is a bright pink, but you can layer the nude until you get it where you feel comfortable so I love that.

Bobbi Brown – Art Stick Liquid Lip – Color: Azalea

If you are a bold lipstick girl, this Bobbi Brown pink is for you! It is the same Art Stick Liquid Lip that I talked about in the first color, but bright! It is happy, stays on all day, and I wear this on days that I am feeling extra brave because the color is a little out of my comfort zone, but beautiful!

Too Faced – Melted – Color: Chihuahua 

Too Faced Melted is for the girl who is just starting to wear lipstick or for when you just want a little something on your lips without being an actual “lipstick”. It stays on so well and the color is just a simple color with finishing off your look. I love to wear this when I am wearing bright colors or when I am wearing a baseball hat and want something super simple to polish off my look.
