How To Style A Striped Shirt for Spring
I am so over winter, I am ready to start wearing my favorite pieces like this striped shirt for spring! Anyone else feel me? I swear once February hits I am ready for warmer weather, playing at the park, and to be able to not be so bundled up. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good chunky sweater, but I am past ready for happier colors, wearing lighter weight materials, and getting this baby bump of mine into some dresses that are a heck of a lot more comfortable than jeans!

Pairing pieces for spring is my favorite. I love to swap out my chunky and cozy cardigans for lighter weight jackets like this green military bomber jacket and other light weight jackets. It takes my favorite layering pieces through another season instead of them sitting in my closet. Layering them with a jacket that hits right at your waist helps you to still create a waist in your look and have the look be flattering.
While I am not one to wear a bright yellow or bright red generally, I like to keep my colors for spring pretty neutral. A green military jacket is the perfect piece to layer over different basic tees like this stripe shirt. You can see my post all about military jackets here.
3 Different Ways You Can Style A Stripe Tee for Spring:
1 – A Denim Jacket Over Top – This gives a similar look to what I am wearing here, but you could pair it with black or white jeans and it would be perfect.
2 – Tucking it into a pencil skirt – Pencil skirts are my favorite and tucking your stripe shirt into them and pairing it with sneakers is my favorite look for spring and summer.
3 – A vest over top – Layering with a vest keeps the look not as cozy but still layered!
What pieces do you like to transition through different seasons and what is your favorite way to style them?
