I am so excited to have some new friends here! A little bit about me for those of you who haven’t been here before, my name is Dani Krum and I am married to the sweetest guy named Zach. We have a 18 month old little boy named King and we love him so much. I can’t wait to have a new friend! XX
I can’t believe that summer is here, everything from the sun staying up later, yummy veggies and fruits, picnics outside for dinner time, and playing until way past bedtime. We have already started having our summer BBQ’s as a family and with friends. It is always so fun to have friends over for a little bit or even just eat outside for a change of scenery from our regular dinners. One thing that I have realized though in having people over is 1. that kids want their own table 2. they are hungry way before dinner starts 3. if you make their table fun they will sit and eat longer. These are all pretty simple things to conquer and I am going to share with you what I have found to help me conquer it so parents can chat, kids can snack, and everyone is happy!
I don’t know about you and your littles, but King absolutely loves to “dip”. If there is dip involved he will sit and eat 3 times longer than if there isn’t. This has made us get really creative with what dipping options that we give him for meals, snacks, etc. He eats so much better when there is “dip”. While I was grocery shopping at Walmart the other day I found myself down the deli section and saw these NEW Chobani Mezé™ Dips. There were four yummy flavors and I just knew that we needed to try all of them and that they would be the perfect “dip” for not only King, but Zach and I too.
King absolutely loved every flavor and so did we, even though the Roasted Red Pepper has my heart. I knew that they would be the perfect thing to make a kids table for our little BBQ that we had last weekend and would be perfect to share with you with Memorial Day coming right up.
I grabbed things I had on hand because who has time these days to run around and grab different supplies for a kids table?
SUPPLIES:
wrapping/butcher paper (any color will work)
markers
muffin tin
fruits and veggies you have in my fridge your fridge
Chobani Mezé™ Dips in all 4 flavors
Roasted Red Pepper
Three Pepper Salsa
Smoked Onion Parmesan
Chili Lime Chobani Meze Dip
Cover your picnic table in the white paper. Then take bright colored markers and write every little ones name on the paper. What little one doesn’t love to find their name on the table? Then fill in the spaces with fun words like “eat”, “dip”, “snack”, etc. to fill up the blank spots on the paper and make the table look fun and inviting. Next, fill up the muffin tin full of all types of different snacks so there is something for every little one to like when they sit down at the table. Lastly bring out all the yummy Chobani Mezé™ Dips. They are so easy to serve, just pair them with your favorite fruits, veggies, crackers, etc. and you are set!
I even felt like a rockstar of a mom and friend because the Chobani Mezé™ Dips are combination of real vegetables, and thick, creamy and trusted Chobani Greek Yogurt. What mom doesn’t want to be feeding that deliciousness not only to her littles but snacking on it herself? I love that the dip is perfect for littles and adults. They are the perfect dip for sharing and even are made to! They seriously making throwing a BBQ so easy!
Little ones have something to snack on while they wait for dinner and I actually did the same fruits and veggies with the Chobani Mezé™ Dips for the adults to snack on before or to pair with their meals. Everyone absolutely loved the dip and can’t wait to serve it at their next party!
You can find the Chobani Mezé™ Dips at your local Walmart in the Deli Section.
