SUMMER, PLEASE STAY…

Hi! Happy Monday, or so we all wish right? I swear, Mondays are the worst and the fact that it is now the one day a week that I work it makes them even worse. However, the fact that I will be done working at the first of the week is pretty great. I would be lying if I said that it was easy going back… I have had nightmares, anxiety, and been a basket case. I’m pretty sure Zach has had it with me. To all you moms that work full time, I wish I could just hug you and tell you how strong you are. I look up to you! It isn’t easy by any means leaving your little one even when you know they are in good hands.

We have been soaking up every last minute of summer over here. I still can’t believe it is as warm as it has been. Playing outside is one of King’s favorite things. He loves to sit and explore on the grass. We haven’t braved the park yet, I don’t think he is quite big enough, but we will have to go and take him down the slides and everything before the cool weather comes. We had a carnival for our church this past weekend that we went to and we made a little video of it that I just need to edit and put together and then I will get it up! It is our first one so bare with us! It was so fun to film our natural responses and actions with King and know that it is something that we will have forever.

Oh and church has been crazy sitting alone wrangling my own little circus. Zach sits up on the stand for his calling, so I run a solo act during sacrament with this busy little boy. I wanted to see if any of you mommas will share how you do it or what quite toys you have found that your littles love. Everything seems to have a rattle, crunch noise, or music which is so fun for when you aren’t supposed to be quite… So if you don’t mind sharing with me your secrets I would love them!
