The comfortable, confident, and cute Halloween costume!
I am sitting here on the couch tonight watching Grey’s Anatomy (please tell me I am not the only one addicted to this show!?) with my diet coke and fall cakes (have you tried the Little Debbie’s ones!? They are my favorite thing even though my husband says they are cardboard cakes) and the husband is at church stuff. I am pondering about life. I am so blessed! I have an amazing husband that will bend over backwards to make me happy. I live in a beautiful town home that I am absolutely in love with. I love my ward, I have never lived in a ward where I feel as if it is home and I belong there until this ward. I have the most amazing friends. Friends that I can call for anything or call to chat with. I absolutely love my job, I mean who gets to hang out with their little brother all day and call it work??? I am absolutely in with love my blog and my readers. I just am so very blessed. I think sometimes we need to sit back and reflect. Look for all the positives and they by far outweigh the negatives. I couldn’t ask for a better life at this point in my life.
I would also like to thank all of you! You have all changed my life for the better, I have made so many new friends and gained a new outlook on life from getting to know you. So I truly want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for your words of encouragement, your kind comments, everything! I wish you all knew how much it meant to me!
Okay so now I have a couple of confessions…
1. I am so relieved to be back to a fashion post! I had fun with the crafting posts, but honestly they made me super anxious! I am not good at change and after I would post I would realize all the things I should have done differently! Oh well! Live and learn right!?
2. I am totally not a fan of dressing up for Halloween… But I mean come on, if you need to you definitely need this poodle skirt!
Dressing up for Halloween is always hard for me. I want something that I feel confident in, cute in, comfortable in, and will last me a few years! I never want to be that scary costume and my husband is definitely not a fan of dressing up so this poodle skirt is absolutely perfect! It isn’t too much of a costume, I feel cute in it and don’t feel like I am over doing it. It will be a costume I will use for many years to come! The quality is absolutely amazing! The skirt is thick and doesn’t need a slip under it! I am thrilled with it. If you are looking for a Halloween costume, this is totally the one for you!
PS check back tomorrow to hear about this amazing photographer Rea Simpson who took all of my amazing pictures! I am so very excited to share her with all of you!!

I definitely agree that that isn’t overly costume-y, and it looks really well made!

I’ve never heard of fall cakes but I do like any seasonal excuse to eat cake. What are they?
