THE TOP THAT GOES WITH EVERYTHING0
Wahoo, it’s Wednesday! I get so excited when the weekend starts to come. So yesterday was my first day back to work like I mentioned. Waking up wasn’t too bad, it was more so that I hit the wall when I got home and took a 2.5 hour nap ha, and was still tired for bed at 10. Matt had a good day. He was so excited to be back to school. When the bus pulled into the parking lot at Fremont his face just lit up. He absolutely loves it there and the kids treat him so well. The P.E. teacher there is phenomenal with Matt. (Matt loves sports, well most of them, he hates tennis and Volley Ball ha. He is the biggest Jazz and ReAl fan you will ever meet!) He pretty much let’s Matt run the entire class. When class starts Coach Melaney asks Matt if he would like to talk to the kids first or if he should go. Matt get’s to tell them what they are doing and give them little pep talks. In the middle of his talks Matt will say “clap your hands” and the entire class claps for whatever he is talking about. It gets pretty funny at times. Sometimes its almost every other sentence that he is telling the kids to “clap their hands”. Matt would take up 15-30 minutes talking last year so Melaney had to reel him in. Now there is what he calls the 2 minute Matt talk. He sets his timer and when Matt’s 2 minutes are up class starts. I just think it is so sweet of him to let Matt give a pep talk and to help run the class.
Now onto the outfit! This darling “Chloe” top is on Very Jane today! It is the perfect top for the transition to fall. It is light weight so you don’t get too hot with it still being warm outside, but cool had the 3/4 sleeves to give it more of the fall look. I paired it with these fun stripe jeans from American Eagle and some flats for running errands and getting things done before school started again.
Make sure to go snag up one of these tops on Very Jane, there are so many fun colors and there are so many possibilities on how you could style it. It would be darling tucked into a pencil skirt, or dressed up with heels, or darling with leggings. This really is the top that goes with everything!
Pants: American Eagle (no longer listed… I couldn’t find a similar pair that weren’t hundreds of dollars…)
