Tips & Tricks for Great Super Bowl Entertaining
While we don’t entertain at our home for the Super Bowl because it is better for Matt to stay at his house, I know a lot of people do love to have their own Super Bowl entertaining, which can be overwhelming, a lot of stress, and daunting. However it doesn’t have to be! I wanted to share a few tips and tricks for Super Bowl entertaining at your house this year that will make it a little less stressful on you and still fun for everyone who attends!
4 SUPER BOWL ENTERTAINING TIPS & TRICKS
1 – Ask people to wear their favorite team colors or team gear! Yes their team probably isn’t in the Super Bowl as only 2 teams are, but I feel like the Super Bowl is just celebrating all of football! It would be so fun to see everyone in their own teams gear and watching the big game all together! I know we have chatted about this before, but NFL Shop is where we snag all of our Super Bowl and team gear! My parents were lucky this year and bought Matt a Patriots shirt early and somehow got it right that they are in the Super Bowl, lucky them! Matt gets super concerned if he is wearing a shirt of the team that is playing.
2 – Don’t overthink it! Keep your snacks simple, things that are even packaged if you don’t want to cook! We love to have fruit salsa, Popchips, popcorn and then I make protein balls for those who don’t love the other snacks. Ask the people coming to bring something too. By delegating your snacks out it will take less stress off of you!
3 – If decorating pushes you over the edge DON’T DO IT! If you love to decorate for parties then go for it! No one is going to notice if you don’t have your house completely decorated for the game and if it isn’t something you love to do it is going to stress you out. Do the things that you love to do and skip out on the others.
4 – Most of all just enjoy the game! That is the biggest thing of the entire day! Don’t stress so much about everything else that you don’t get to watch the game. Keep things simple, easy, and try to prepare ahead of time. Then when it is game time you can enjoy, scream and yell at the TV and truly enjoy the time with your family &/or friends!
Happy Super Bowl entertaining!
