Toddler Snacks for Summer!
With having little Lettie in our family I have had to be a lot smarter about how I do a lot of things. King has had to be a lot more independent too which has been good for him if I set him up to succeed ahead of time. One thing that I had to figure out quick was snacks for him that he can grab throughout the day, take outside with him when he is playing, or that I can grab quick to pack in his school lunch for preschool. I have found lots of snacks that have worked great for him and me to snack on through the day and have chatted about it on my stories a few times so I thought I would share here too so you can save them or come back to them later!
Here is a list of our favorites:
— I package up all the chips, crackers, etc. in snack baggies and put them in bins in the fridge or pantry for him or I to grab —
– Apple Sauce Pouches (King can open them himself)
– Yogurt Pouches
– Costco Pre-Packaged Apples
– Animal Crackers
– Veggie Straws
– Wheat Thins
– Rice Krispy Treats
– Fruit Leather
– Strawberries
– Cheese Sticks
– Carrot Sticks with Ranch
– Fruit Snacks
– Popsicles (Costco has colorless Otterpops!
– All Natural Capri Suns
– Apple Straws
– Apple Chips
– Dried Fruit
– Kids Protein Bars
These are our staple items that we rotate through in our fridge and pantry! They have given King the independence of getting his own snack, given me snacks that are ready to eat, and make packing his lunch super easy! I would love to hear if you have any snacks that you love to give your littles!
