Tried & True Hair Products

Hair products… isn’t it so hard to know where to put your money? I want a quality product that is going to strengthen my hair and support it rather than break it down. Going through a million hair care products to find what is truly good and will serve your hair how you need it can cost a million dollars right? I have gone through half a million hair care products finding the ones that truly are worth putting your money toward and am excited to share with you what my tried & true hair products are. I have been using most of these for years and all of them for at least a full year. They have passed the test of working in my extensions also which is for me an even bigger test than my natural hair! So…let’s get to it ya?

AMIKA WIZARD

If you have hair that tangles easily this will be your new best friend. It doesn’t take very much product just a light mist over your hair when it is wet out of the shower and it will help to detangle your hair more than you will ever believe. It makes it silky smooth too! I have been using this for probably 3-4 years now and it is something that is constantly stocked with a backup in my linen closet because I know my hair will tangle and rip out if I don’t use it.

LOMA MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER

My stylist recommended this to me probably two years ago for my extensions, however it helps my natural hair so much. If you have dry hair this is going to be a game changing change for you. (Try to say that fast 3 times ha) It smells amazing and I also keep this stocked in my linen closet because I can notice a huge difference if I use a different shampoo.

LIVING PROOF DRY SHAMPOO

I am smitten with this dry shampoo, it is the only one that truly makes my hair feel clean. I think a big part of this dry shampoo is using it at night before you go to bed and then it can soak up the oil all night. It is a little expensive for what it is, but it is well worth the price.

I think you guys know my obsession with Navy Hair care and it isn’t going to end. This is the best heat protectant, frizz smoother, hydrating spray that I have ever used. I can’t live without it now. It smells amazing and doesn’t make my hair feel greasy or weighted down at all which is a major win for me!

OLAPLEX

This is a newer to me product and I have been obsessed with it. I run it through my wet hair (just mid-shaft down) when I get out of the shower and it hydrates and bonds my ends of my extensions keeping them tangle free and helps to support all the split ends too. When my hair is feeling dry I also will put it on my hair dry between washes.

Yep, another Navy Hair care product, this is hands down the best texture spray I have ever found. It doesn’t make your hair feel nasty like a lot of them and it doesn’t make your hair weighed down or crunchy. It gives the perfect amount of texture and you can notice the body it gives your hair instantly!
