UNEXPECTED.

People, it is almost the weekend and I must say I am welcoming it with open arms but wanting it to stay forever. King has his first helmet appointment today to see if it is reshaping his head correctly. It has been two full weeks of head butts, head slamming (by King, he thinks the noise the helmet makes is hilarious), stretching out shirts because I know if I take it off for a second he won’t be too happy to get it back on, and determination from a momma who just wants her baby snuggles back. Helmet wearing is easy on King, but it is not for the faint of heart as a mom. They told me not much will change in two weeks, but they want to make sure it isn’t giving him sores on his head or anything, which is good with me. I will keep you all informed of how it goes.
We are hoping to take a little family staycation this weekend and I can’t wait to get away for a little bit if it all works out. Time spent with both of my boys would be amazing. I feel like my family gets so caught up in being busy that we forget to take time as a family… Anyways! I wanted to share one of my favorite finds with you today, you will die over this dress people!
Isn’t it the greatest thing when you find that perfect dress that you can wear in the summer and transition to the fall? Doesn’t it just make your body get that tingly excited feeling because you know that the money you are spending on something can be worn for that much longer? What really puts a damper on it though is when that sweet little tag reads that it is dry clean only *gasp*!
All the money you spent on that dress or outfit will now be added to with all the dry cleaning and we know as a momma that our clothes don’t stay clean for very long… Well friends, I’m happy to share with you that this dress is unexpected and delightful! It is machine washable!! YES! Amazing right? This flowy, perfect length, transitional dress is machine washable! Perfection right?!
I throw this baby in with my Tide Pods + Febreeze and know that it will come out looking like new! All those sweet baby stains of puke, boogers, and diaper blow outs are so quickly washed away with Tide Pods + Febreeze. PEOPLE. This is a complete game changer. Now go snag yourself a container of these bad boys and you can thank me later for helping make the laundry easier for you!

I hope everything goes well with King’s helmet! It’s so hard to watch your kids have to go through things. My daughter has been in physical therapy for the last 3 months due to developmental delays caused by a birth defect she has and its never easy having to watch them deal with things, but its nice knowing you’re doing the best you can for them, and that you’re giving them every opportunity for success!

This is such a fun, flowy dress! It looks perfect with your plaid shirt. I love pieces that can be worn over multiple seasons.
