Ways I Turn a Bad Morning into a Good Day
I think we all have bad mornings right? Days that you wake up, get started, and just wish that you could go back to bed… I feel like I had a big run of them recently and needed something to snap me out of a bad morning so it didn’t turn into a bad day. I don’t know if it is winter or what but the rough mornings have been more consistent recently.
5 Ways to Turn a Bad Morning Into A Good Day
I have a few things that I do when my morning start out hard, these are things that have worked for me recently and that have really increased my mood. I hope that these can help you to turn a bad morning into a better one.
1 – Take a Few Deep Breaths
I know it sounds silly but sometimes it sometimes it is just taking a big deep breath that helps to change my mood and help me to reset.
2 – Diffusing Oils
This is something that really helps me and is super simple to do. I love to diffuse lemon and orange or something citrus when I need my mood to be uplifted. I go through and fill up all the diffusers in our house and get them going.
3 – Meditation
This is something that is new to me in the past 6 months but I am really loving. It gives me time to just be, collect my thoughts, and to be in tune with myself. Even if it is a simple 5 minute meditation hiding in my closet it is game changing for my mental health.
4 – Music
Playing music and different playlists when I am in a bad mood is something that quickly lifts me up and changes my mood. I follow a bunch of different playlists on Spotify and love to listen to them and pick ones depending on what mood I am in and what I need to change it to be. Here are some of my favorites:

5 – Take A Step Back
This one probably sounds silly but sometimes I just need to take a step back and look at all the good that I have in my life. I have a beautiful family, a home that we love, cars that get me from point A to be point B, and so much more. Sometimes I just need to have a deep conversation with myself, tell myself to snap out of it, and force my mind into a better place.
