Weekend Recap – Last Soccer Game, Family Pictures, & General Conference
This past weekend we had a ton of family time and it was much needed. I will be honest, I realized this week that I am scared for my littles to get older. King has soccer practice twice a week right now and soccer games once a week. I have realized that we don’t have a ton of time together as a family and it scares me for as my kids all get into activities and have more going on. I am excited that this is the last week of soccer practice and that our nights together as a family will be back to normal.
Here is a little bit of what happened this weekend:
- King had his last soccer game because he will be gone hunting next weekend. It was another freezing game, 8:45 in the morning in the fall means freaking cold! He played like a total champ and I am so proud of him and how far he has come this season.
- We took family pictures on Saturday night and I am so excited for them. The last family pictures that we took was when Lettie girl was only a couple weeks old. I’m so excited to have updated ones hanging in our entry way.
- We had General Conference for our church this past weekend. It is where we (members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) watch our Prophet and leaders on tv for four two hour sessions. There is morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday & Sunday. I always love Conference, it speaks deep into my heart and gives me so many answers to things that I have been praying for.
- We went to Zach’s grandparents house and Lettie was OBSESSED with their “spookies” that they had out front. She made herself right at home and sat and chatted with them. It was the funniest thing!
