9 WINTER CLOSET ESSENTIAL PIECES.

Winter is here, Christmas is over and I am ready for it to be warm. I wanted to share with you 9 winter essential pieces that you have to have in your closet to make it through these freezing cold days while we all hope for an early spring! These are pieces that you can turn to over and over again, be cozy and warm, and look like a total babe. Each look has a flat lay with it, you can click each item in the flat lay to shop them. 

1. The perfect sweatshirt. Aren’t we all always looking for the sweatshirt that we feel comfy and cozy in, but look put together in? I have found it. This sweatshirt is a staple in my closet, so much that I may or may not have 9 different colors/prints in them. Umm obsessed much? I promise that you will find yourself wearing it over and over again. It is the perfect length to slightly bunch up and wear with jeans (worn here) or pulled down a little to cover your bum and wear with leggings. Perfect right?

2. The perfect boots. If you follow me on Instagram you know how obsessed I am with my Nike boots. I wear them daily and actually snagged the burgundy color too. They are the perfect warm, functional, and cozy boot. They have the soles of Nike sneakers, but the functionality of a boot. These are an absolute must have in your closet. 3. Cozy sweaters. Umm don’t we all know that is a must? I have so many favorites, but this one takes the cake. This ruffle sweater is oversized, comfy, and it looks so perfectly put together. You can wear it also with jeans or leggings, and you can have it looked dressed up while you feel like you are in your p.j.’s. Enough said right?

4. A good pair of rain boots. Hunter Boots are my go to. They keep my feet so warm, are comfortable, and when it is freezing outside I can throw in my boot socks and my feet are cozy warm too. Hunter Boots are a classic piece that won’t go out of style and you will be surprised with how much you wear them.

5. Beanies! I am all about good pom pom beanie. They look so cute, they are perfect for when your hair is a greasy mess to throw on top, and it looks so put together. Having a few go to beanies will change your life babes, I promise you that!

6. Layering jackets are something that is a must! I love that I can always put a good denim jacket on over anything and make it warmer and cozier. Denim jackets/layering jackets speak for themselves. Am I right?

7. Black jeans, they dress up any look so easily. Plus they don’t look dirty when you have little hands (umm King is so messy) so then I don’t feel like I am a mess all day long. A good pair of black jeans is worth investing in, I didn’t for a long time, and now that I finally have I wish I would have a long time ago. When I need to be put together for something, I always go with a black on black look. It looks so chic, but really I am in jeans and a top. Win!

8. A cozy cardigan! Like denim or layering jackets, a cardigan can be the perfect piece to go over any top or turtleneck in the winter. I am obsessed with this cardigan to the point that I bought in in 3 different colors. It is the perfect oversized fit, length, and coziness. Find the perfect cardigan for you, even if it is a little bit of extra money, because I promise you, if you spend the money on it, it will hold up so much longer. You will wear a good cardigan almost every day, find the perfect one for you. 

9. Last but not least, a good layering tee is a must. It will go under your cardigans and jackets. Find the ones that fit and work the best for you. I am obsessed with these Madewell tees. They are the perfect v-neck to not have to wear something under them. They are perfect to layer under things in the winter and to stand alone in the summer.
