Wrap Around Messy Bun Hair Tutorial
I am so excited to be doing hair tutorials again! The pregnancy sickness really put a damper on getting them photographed and sometimes filmed. I have literally been in survival mode since September and while I wish that I could say my pregnancy sickness is gone, it isn’t. I have learned my new normal, the best ways to deal with my sickness, and what works with this pregnancy.
This messy bun hair tutorial is stunning, simple, and takes under 10 minutes! It is perfect for dirty hair days, holiday parties, and so much more. It truly is my go to hair style because of how quickly it can be pulled together and look stunning. As a mama sometimes we are literally running out the door getting ready. This hairstyle I have done in my care more times than I can count and it never fails me!
I do think that you need to have longer hair for this messy bun hair tutorial. Having old curls also does help with the texture of the look and I love the way it looks with your bangs or the pieces that you pull out of the style with the loose curls. This style holds super well which is also a win as a mom or if you need it to last all day.

MESSY BUN HAIR TUTORIAL – S T E P S:
1 – Start with your hair down. Dirty hair works best, if your hair isn’t dirty then you can spray some texture spray through it now too.
2 – On the right side pull a section about 2-3 inches or from the back of your ear forward and put it in front of your shoulder for later.
3 – Repeat on the left side.
4 – Take the center portion of hair that is still laying down the center of your back and start to twist it in one direction to make a bun.
5 – Keep loosely twisting until you get to the end of your hair. Loop the bottom of your twist to the top of your twist and not being too careful secure with an elastic. You want this to look messy!
6 – Take one side of hair that is in front of your shoulder and wrap it around the pony tail until you get to the end. Secure with a bobby pin or two.
7 – Repeat on the opposite side.
8 – Pull hair out to frame your face if you choose and finish off with hairspray!
