Hump day woot woot! I am always so excited when I hit Wednesdays because it means that we have made it half way through the week! I am so thrilled to share with you today’s post. Seriously, one of my favorite posts that I have ever written. First though, can we just talk about how excited I am for Positively Baby Shower on Friday? Like, giddy babes. It is going to be absolutely amazing. You are going to die when I share the images and all about it.
We all want our hair out of our face sometimes don’t we? We want something that won’t damage our hair, will keep us looking like babes, and will stay put. I love a good top knot like the next girl, but only if it is going to stay in place and not move. I also love to pull my bangs back, but hate having my headband slip time and time again into my eyes, pop off the top of my head, or just be all crazy where I don’t want it. I have found it hard to keep my hair out of my face with the layers of my natural hair and my extensions so I wanted to share with you 3 tips to keeping your hair out of your face…
1. Make sure that you hair isn’t dry. Dry hair causes static hair and fly aways. If you have dry hair, try finding a super moisturizing conditioner and some kind of oil through it such as argan or moroccan oil. I promise this makes such a huge difference.
2. Use braids, twists, etc. to pull your bangs to the side or straight down the back. These usually are something I go to, but tend to find them loosening through the day and falling out. They are pretty for when I need to go somewhere, take pictures, or anything else. It isn’t the most functional for layers, but it will still work!
3. Use a headband! Trust me, I wanted something cuter than the silly drug store headbands that tend to slip, slide, and fall when you don’t want them to. Something that was cute, had adjustability, and would stay put. I mean, is that too hard? It isn’t that many requests… Babes, it really does exist! They are headbands called Owl Be Sweatin’. They seriously are heaven on earth. They stay in place, the thickness can be adjusted (ages 4 and up), they have the cutest different patterns, and they are handmade in the USA. The cutest sister-in-law team came up with these when they couldn’t find a headband that wouldn’t slip during fitness activities! These headbands are my favorite for when I work out because they stay put so well and really hold my bangs out of my face. They truly are my favorite headbands that I have ever found babes.
What’s your favorite way to keep your hair out of your face? I hope you have the happiest Wednesday!
Thanks to Owl Be Sweatin’ for sponsoring this post.
