The Ultimate Abs, Core & Pelvic Floor Workout
King is going to be 3 in December… 3!! I can’t believe it and honestly I am a little embarrassed. This is something kind of tricky for me to talk about. Whenever I say I need to get in shape people always say something along the lines of “Oh no you don’t! Look at you!!” What they don’t know is that I get winded going up and down the stairs if I am carrying something, that I can’t dance through one song with King through the house, or even go on long walks with my little family because I get too tired… Yes my leg injury has played a part in me not being active, but that is no excuse. I might look “small” or “skinny” but in reality I am crazy unhealthy.
I always start to make changes, start a new program, try it for a few weeks, see the beginning of results, then something comes up and I don’t make it a priority through whatever came up. It gets pushed aside and then not done again until I find a new program that gets me excited. It is actually quite embarrassing and ridiculous if you ask me. Now that we are in our home, are getting a routine, working out is on the top of my list. Being healthy, loving my body for being there for me every day, allowing me to hug and kiss King, dance with him through the house, etc. I am going to treat my body right and take care of it because it is always there for me.
I recently found a program called Abs, Core, and Pelvic Floor. Where I haven’t worked out since having King, my abdomen has never been able to get back in shape, to be what it was before King, or to have any tone or anything to it. I knew this was where I needed to start getting back in shape and back to my body that is healthy and active. Abs, Core & Pelvic Floor was written by personal trainer Natalie Hodson and Dr. Monique Middlekauf – a specialist in pelvic floor workout and dysfunction. I love that this pelvic floor workout program is simple exercises that heal your abdomen, core, and pelvic floor correctly. It doesn’t rush things, it helps heal Diastasis Recti and get you started on a healthier body. It is a 30 day long program that also comes with bonus information on nutrition. No gym is needed for this program, you can do everything at home which is a big deal for me. I love that I can work out at nap time, early in the morning, while King eats breakfast, or whenever it fits into our busy day and I am getting in a good pelvic floor workout.
Being healthy and treating my body right is something that is a must, and I am so thankful to have found this amazing abs, core and pelvic floor workout. I want to be the mom that can chase her kids for hours, have dance parties all day in the kitchen, can go on hikes, walks, etc. It is so important for me to be there for not only my kids and family, but to be there for my body and to treat it right. I would love to have you along on this journey with me, to share our struggles, and be there for each other! Here is to stronger, healthier, and prouder us!

I can relate to all of this so much! I was the same way in the spring and then finally started working out (again), and have actually stuck with it and feel so much healthier than I used to! It will be so worth it if you can stick to it, which is always the hardest part for me!
