Hair Tutorial: How To Get Easy Curls
So many of you have asked me how I get my super EASY curls, so today I am finally sharing how I get my curls with this super quick hair tutorial. You guys have been requesting this for a long time now and it is finally here & up! I am so excited to share this with you and hope it helps you make all your curly curls hair dreams come true.
My first tip to this curly hair how to is to invest in a good curling iron. I know, I know, probably not what you want to hear, but I promise it makes all the difference and will make your curls last so much longer. I generally can get these curls to last me around 6-9 days with just touching up around my face. Yes my extensions help, but my natural hair holds really well too. I have always struggled with finding a curling iron that will hold my natural hair in a curl until I splurged and bought a good one. Now I will never ever look back and all the time I spend curling my hair is completely worth it. I use the T3 Whirl Trio for my classic curls and then for a looser at the bottom curl I use my T3 base with the cascading waves attachment. I am obsessed with the T3 system because I can easily swap out what barrel I am using and I know that it is still a curling iron that is going to hold my hair in a curl without falling out.
As for products, I don’t use a ton the initial day I curl my hair. I do always use a heat protectant and right now I am loving the Living Proof Restore Instant Protector. It has protected my hair really well, but it doesn’t smell good at all just a heads up. When it comes to touching my hair up during the week I can’t live without my Amika Dry Shampoo, Kevin Murphy Do.Over, & R+Co. Aircraft. These are what make my curls look like they are fresh. The Kevin Murphy Do.Over is what gives my hair some texture and body, and the R+Co. Aircraft is a mousse pomade that really pieces my curls back together again.
There is a full video below of what I do and how I do it. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions! I am more than happy to help. It has taken me years and years to find a routine and products that work for me and my hair so I am more than happy to share with you!
