Perfect Easter Basket Ideas for Toddlers
Easter is right around the corner, which of course means it is also time for Easter baskets! Curious what you need for an easter basket? See these perfect Easter basket ideas for toddlers. I use to always be the person who was stressed out a few days before a holiday or birthday running around trying to find random things for gifts. Then I got smarter than that. I have started to take notes in my phone as I see things so I can remember them when the time comes to buy them. I also put a reminder in my phone 2-4 weeks early depending on the holiday to start looking for gifts if I don’t know what I am wanting to snag yet and to make sure that I am purchasing early enough that I am not stressed out.
I have found that when I am buying things for holidays like Easter Baskets, Stockings, etc. that after the fact I hate the trinket things that end up getting lost around the house and ultimately thrown away. I really try to think of things that can have purpose, are functional, and that we can use for awhile.
These are such fun ideas for Easter for your littles and I am giving you time to order early enough to snag them so they can be personalized. Your littles will think it is the best thing ever to get matching games with their picture on them, plates with their name on it, and notebooks with silly pictures of them.
I wanted to do something functional for baskets this year and while I love a good basket, when I saw these personalized canvas bags I knew it was what would be perfect! I even ordered one for baby sister with her name on it so we can use them for both of our littles. The quality of them is truly amazing, I’ll be honest I wasn’t quite sure what it would be like, but they are super thick material and the names are embroidered on them which I love even more.
Our favorite thing (we actually own a couple of them now) is the memory matching game. We have one of family pictures from a few years ago and now this one with pictures of all of King’s favorite people. While King isn’t big enough to truly play matching we place all the cards face up and let him find the matches and put them in stacks. He loves finding them and the look on his face when he matches them is priceless! I love that it is a game that we can all play together, helped him to recognize people and learn family members names that may not live close, and let’s his mind think.
My favorite thing is notebooks and King has found my love for them. I love that I can put our pictures on them and keep them in my drawer to jot things down on really quick. I always find King hiding with my notebooks and so I decided to snag him a couple different ones that can be only his.
This little boy has been obsessed with Cars lately and so knowing that getting him a Cars plate and cup with his name on them I knew would be a total hit! He now will only eat on his Lightening McQueen plate for every meal. I can get him to eat so much better and he is thrilled.
I hope this helps you to have some ideas for Easter baskets for your littles. These are things that serve a purpose in our home, help to let King be creative and use his mind, and that make him feel special because they are personalized to him.
