When I started working out every morning I knew I needed to eat healthier and change my diet too. I had a friend share this overnight oats recipe with me and I tweaked it a little bit to add a couple things that I like to add in and it is my favorite. I eat one every morning and love that it is made in a mason jar so I can grab it on the go if I need to. I have found that even though I don’t prefer to eat the same thing every day, having it made and ready in the fridge for me keeps me on track with eating right and simplifies things.
I make these in a big batch every single Monday and eat one every day throughout the week. They are full of protein. I’ll be honest, when I ate it the first time I didn’t like it at all… it took a minute to grow on me and now I want one every morning (unless I buy mixed berries on accident and they are full of blueberries…yuck!). I love that I found something that keeps my health goals on track all while being easy and convenient too.
