Our Summer Adventure List
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of UPPAbaby. The opinions and text are all mine.
Summer is here and in full swing at our house. We are loving it. We are finally getting back into a routine since having Lettie join our family and King starting preschool. He heads to preschool 3 days a week (M-W) for 3 hours and having the consistency for him has been game changing for everyone in our family.
When I signed him up for preschool in the summer I knew I still wanted him to be able to have a “summer” full of adventures and activities so I “schedule” us to do an activity either on our own or with friends every Thursday and Friday. This is our time to go out or stay in and do something out of the ordinary.
At first when I started to plan these activities I was overwhelmed… I was worried about how I was going to manage two littles and still have a fun, happy, non-stressful activity. I feel like it is one thing to do things at home, but something completely different to take both littles out on my own. This sounds so silly now, but it hit me and I realized that I just needed a stroller that would fit both of my littles on it so I can keep them contained in one place together. Simple right? We already had the UPPAbaby VISTA stroller that we love. You can read all about it here. We snagged a RumbleSeat for King that can go on the front of the stroller, some carseat clips, and their Piggyback Ride-Along board that he calls his “skateboard” that he can ride on the back of the stroller. This has been the best thing ever in taking both of them out whether I am on my own or with friends or family. (King is 32 lbs and 34 inches tall for reference on the RumbleSeat, you can see the height and weight requirements here)
I have learned if I talk to King about my expectations for him when we get in the car to go somewhere and then have him repeat them to me once on the way there and then again when we get there he does really well most of the time. He knows he can’t get off his “skateboard” unless I say or that he has to stay in the front seat and he can have snacks in there while we are going wherever we are going.
We have a list of fun adventures that we are going to do as a family, some are simple and others are more intense things but I thought I would share them with you if you are looking for things to do with your littles this summer!

I love that even though I might get a little bit stressed and anxious taking two littles out by myself that with my UPPAbaby VISTA stroller things are simplified, easier, and everyone is happier. I am not as scared to get out of the house and let King still go and do things, plus mama has errands to run too! My favorite part of this stroller is that King has his own places that make him feel special and the massive basket underneath so I can store alllllll of our stuff. It seriously is a dream and makes being a mama of two littles so much easier!
