Protein Powders I’m Loving
When I started a journey of healthier eating I knew that I would need simple and easy ways to get more protein into my diet. All I had ever heard about protein powder was how nasty it was and the after taste that came with it. I made it a point for myself to go through protein powders and find one that I was happy with and liked. I have tired so many protein powders. I have thrown away big tubs of protein because the taste is terrible…however in that hunt I found the yummiest protein powders and a couple other things that really help me to get more protein in my diet.
|| CLEAN SIMPLE EATS PROTEIN POWDER ||
This is hands down the best tasting protein powder I have ever found. I use both flavors the vanilla and the brownie batter and have been thrilled with both of them. They don’t have a chalky taste to them and there isn’t a weird after taste to them either. I also love buying these because it is a sweet mama who is doing her best working from home too which is amazing to me. This is the companies of meal plans/recipe books that we use and swear by also!
|| VITAL PROTEINS COLLAGEN POWDER ||
I had my macros counted after I had Lettie and needed to hit higher protein numbers so I started researching something that I could add into things that I was already eating that would up it. I add 2 scoops of Vital Protein Collagen Powder to my overnight oats every day and it is a simple way to get higher protein. It is tasteless which is amazing and I buy mine in the big package at Costco but they also have it on Amazon!
|| KODIAK CAKES MIX ||
This is my go to when I need more protein and I am already making something that would be mix or carb based. Kodiak Cakes are amazing and they have everything from muffin mixes, cookie mixes, pancake/waffle mixes, and even can be put into power balls or cakes! I buy their frozen waffles for quick snacks or breakfasts when we are in a rush, but they are a total staple in our home and a healthier, higher protein choice for things that we already are eating and loving.
I hope this helps you to find a few different things that can easily add more protein to your diet if that is something that you are working on. I have spent hundreds of dollars on different protein shakes, powders, etc. and these are what I have found to love and work best for our lifestyle. I would love to know what your favorites are in the comments below!
