Winter fitness is hard. We all have New Year’s resolutions, but it is so dang cold outside that we are either working out inside (which isn’t as fun) or are hitting the gym. Fitness is a huge goal for me in 2017 along with my nutrition. I am going to be completely honest, I haven’t worked out consistantly since I graduated high school almost 9 years ago. It is ridiculous and my body is really paying for it. I want to make sure that I am taking care of my body so it can take care of me, help me to take care of my littles, and give me the fullest life that I can have. If that means devoting only 1 hour a day to it, then that isn’t very much to ask.
I wanted to share with you my fitness must haves for through the winter. I will say, these pieces are a little bit more expensive, but they are in all honestly worth every penny. This jacket is lighter weight and so warm and cozy. A good sports bra (even though I don’t have much to put in it) is also worth the investment. I would tell you if you want to save certain places in fitness gear to save on your leggings These are my favorite, I love them more than Lululemon, they come in full length, crop, regular waist, and high waisted which is my fave. I wear them under all my sweatshirts, flannels, everything. Tank tops (this is so cute and is only $20) are also somewhere you can save money . Make sure you are using/wearing good shoes! It is so important and often times I find myself buying shoes because I love the look of them, but they aren’t necessarily the most functional for fitness.
